Join our Board of Directors - Center Toward Self Reliance

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our community and organization. Will you contribute your expertise to a mission that matters?

We are looking for members who:

Believe in our mission of empowering people of all ages with disabilities to function as independently as possible and to be active contributing members of society.
Bring experience in nonprofit governance, finance, law, fundraising, community outreach, etc.
Committed to active participation and thoughtful collaboration.

Responsibilities Include:

Attending regular board meetings, which occur every 4th Wednesday of each month from 11am to 2pm. There is not a meeting held in June and December.
Attending Board training sessions, usually held in May.
Supporting strategic planning and oversight.
Acting as an ambassador for the organization.
